In our first season as an independent resort, Beast Week feels extra special. As we’ve taken on new responsibilities and have a new sense of freedom, we are truly grateful for the incredible contributions each of you makes to keep The Beast flourishing. Your hard work is the engine behind the longest season, the best mountain operations and the most unforgettable experiences our guests have come to expect. You are the reason the lifts spin, the base lodges buzz and the terrain remains so well-maintained and easy to enjoy.

 

Regardless of your role, you play an integral part in shaping us into a world-class destination. From the Stifel Killington Cup to the Bear Mountain Mogul challenge and every day in between, your commitment to excellence, optimism and ambitious spirit keep Killington and Pico the world-class destinations they are. We couldn't ask for a better team to deliver the best possible experiences to our guests day in and day out. 

 

On behalf of the entire resort leadership team, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. To express our appreciation, we've dedicated this entire week to recognizing and celebrating your hard work.

Beast Week Begins Saturday!

 

Beast Week is a weeklong celebration of the people behind the mountain; all of you! 

Killington Resort and Pico Mountain's 5th Annual Beast Week will be held:
Saturday, February 8th - Friday, February 14th

 

We will be hosting events, giveaways, contests and more!

2024 W2s are Available!

 

When you log into your Workday app, there will be an Announcement on your dashboard/home page directing you to your W2.

 

If you do not see an Announcement on your dashboard:

- Go to: My Apps

- Click Benefits & Pay

- My Tax Documents

 

Paper W2's are being mailed in addition to their Workday release to the address that we have on file.

Beast Team Text Alerts

 

Are you signed up for our Employee Text alert program?

 

During Beast Week and throughout the winter and summer seasons, we send out reminders to employees about upcoming events, giveaways, contests and more.

 

Employees are not automatically enrolled in this program and must sign up to receive the text notifications. You can easily opt out any time, and the texts are not invasive!

 

We only text when there is something that benefits you as a Beast Team member.

You've Been Noticed Raffle

 

'You've Been Noticed' cards are awarded by supervisors or managers to team members that have been 'noticed' for: Embodying one of our Hospitality Standards, demonstrating Safety, or representing our Sustainability initiatives.

Team members that receive a pin are entered into a special raffle each month!

Forgot Your Pass at Home?

 

You already know that if you've lost your employee pass, you get a new one in the Human Resources office. But if you forgot your employee pass at home, go to a ticket window and ask for a one-day employee forgot pass ticket.

 

You'll receive a temporary RFID card that you can use through the gates and for other employee discounts.

 

To reactivate your employee pass the next day, just take it through one of the lift gates, or call HR at (802) 422-6709 with your employee pass in hand.

 

The temporary RFID card is meant to only be used for the one day. It is NOT meant to replace your employee pass.

Employee Discount Reminder

 

Just a reminder that if you are looking to utilize your F&B or retail discounts you must have your employee pass present.

This includes all retail locations, all base lodge F&B operations, Preston's Restaurant, The Wobbly Barn and the Killington Grad Hotel Cafe.

 

If you do not have your pass, your discount cannot be applied.

 

REMINDER:  If you have misplaced your employee pass, you can have your pass replaced in the HR office.

In addition to your EAP, there are other resources in the area that can help with various concerns. You are not alone.

• We are proud to host the return of Park Affair at Ramshead this Saturday, February 8th.
• Reminder that Saturday, February 8th is a Peak Parking Day for staff. Please remember to park in your designated area. Thank you for your understanding and allowing our guests the best possible access to base areas. 
  • B.A.T. shuttles will be shuttling staff from 5:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m and shuttling from Mary Lous will be available before and after lifts open.
