Here we go! We’re in for a wild weekend at The Beast. We’re proud to be the only resort in the East open for skiing/riding, mountain biking, and golfing this weekend. Up on Superstar, our grooming team is working their magic to provide the best skiing & riding experience possible this weekend despite this past week’s weather. The recent unseasonably warm temps unfortunately mean this will be our last weekend on snow this season. The Superstar Six is set to spin on Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. as well as Saturday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., conditions permitting. Around midday on Saturday, we’ll assess and announce whether or not we can keep things going on Sunday for one last day, but either Saturday or Sunday will be our last hurrah this season. To commemorate our closing day, we have $40 lift tickets available for Saturday and (if applicable) Sunday, with lift ticket proceeds going to support the Killington Rec Department’s new pool construction project. Winter and summer are colliding in one special weekend, and we’re giving everyone the chance to try out the multi-sport action. In the Bike Park, our Trail Crew has been hard at work prepping the dirt and will have close to 100% of our Snowshed trails ready for opening day this Friday, May 22nd. Our Golf Course remains open daily for scenic spring tee times, and our Adventure Center opens for the season this Saturday, May 23rd. In honor of Memorial Day, active duty, honorably discharged, and retired members of the U.S. Military are invited to mountain bike or golf for free on Monday, May 25th. Access can be redeemed by presenting a proper Military ID at the Golf Pro Shop or a Guest Services window at Snowshed Lodge.
Next up, Beast 365 Pass holders are eligible to earn a free t-shirt by skiing/riding, mountain biking, and golfing any time from Friday, May 22nd through Monday, May 25th during our Beast 365 Challenge. Due to our slated operating schedule this weekend, we recommend checking off the skiing/riding first! Lastly, if you’re here for the last of the snow but want to sample some summertime fun, guests with a valid paid winter lift ticket or Winter Unlimited Pass can take advantage of our Memorial Day Multi-Sport Add-On. On any day we’re open for skiing & riding this weekend, eligible guests can visit the Golf Pro Shop or a Guest Services window to add a same-day Bike Park ticket, round of golf, or Adventure Center access (Saturday & Sunday only) for $35 per activity (bike rentals and golf carts not included).
One weekend truly isn’t enough to explore all of what The Beast has to offer during the summer, so consider grabbing one of our summer season passes while prices are still at their lowest. Buy before 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, May 21st to secure the best price on a Unlimited Bike Park or Golf Course Season Pass, giving you your choice of unlimited laps at the East’s biggest mountain bike park or unlimited scenic golf rounds in the heart of the Green Mountains.

Not to get lost in the three-sport madness, our Adventure Center opens this Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th. Come by to enjoy the Beast Mountain Coaster, Zip Line Racer, and many more of your favorites from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. After this weekend, the Adventure Center will take a break May 30th-31st and reopen on Saturdays & Sundays from June 6th-June 21st before beginning Thursday-Monday operations on June 25th. Around July 4th, we’re excited to open our Trampoline Jump and debut two new attractions: the Beast Tower and Climbing Wall! Stay tuned for an exact opening date, as well as more on what’s to come there.
Finally, in case you haven’t seen it already, we have a new website! Built with the help of Burlington, VT-based company Eternity, the new killington.com brings all the same info you need with a fresh look and a host of new features. Try out the new search bar at the top of each page and find helpful links on the right side of many pages, all meant to guide you to where you need to go. If you still need help finding something, our improved AI chatbot is now up and running as well. As an independent resort, we were able to enlist the help of a local company that could work with our specific needs and implement a number of improvements to our online guest experience. Check out all that’s new today!

As summer attractions open up, so do our summer dining options. Preston’s re-opens for the summer this Friday-Monday, the Clubhouse Grill opens for the season this Friday-Monday before beginning regular Wednesday-Sunday operations, and Snowshed Food Court will open each day the Snowshed Express spins featuring a new, seamless checkout experience.
