We've missed you, Beast fans!

Our first midweek break of the season is almost over, and we’re excited to welcome everyone back to the slopes for more Superstar action this weekend. Though we haven’t had any lifts running since Sunday, the work never stops around here. Today, dozens of staff members took part in a trash pickup around our base lodges, and several members of our Patrol team conducted a quick and successful lift evacuation training on the Superstar Six. Throughout the week, our Mountain Ops crews have also been out in force across the mountain. Work is underway to remove the Snowdon Triple and make way for a new Doppelmayr fixed-grip quad, while crews are also replacing long stretches of snowmaking pipe at Bear Mountain and Snowshed. Thank you to all our staff members who keep the mountain running year-round!

It’s never too early to prepare for next winter, but we’ll continue to stretch our time on snow this winter as long as possible. We’re one of the few remaining mountains open in the East, and we still have our eyes on skiing & riding through Memorial Day weekend. As a reminder, this weekend will bring even more time for bumps and for après fun than usual—the Superstar Six will spin from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 8:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

This Saturday, May 9th, Decked Out Days wraps up for the season with a denim theme on the slopes and at the Superstar Umbrella Bar. As usual, the person judged as best dressed following this week’s theme will go home with a prize, as will the winner of our afternoon stein hoisting challenge (must be 21+ to compete). Plus, Westerlind boutique will be joining us at the Umbrella Bar with a limited number of Levi’s jeans for sale. Anyone who purchases an item will get a free, custom embroidery on site. A live set from DJ Benny Shreds will kick off around 2:30 p.m., and we’ll have plenty of swag to give away from our friends at NÜTRL.

EVENTS CALENDAR

We have a couple more notes to highlight heading into this weekend. First up, we’re happy to offer $49 lift tickets for all mothers this Sunday, May 10th in honor of Mother’s Day. Simply head to the ticket counter on the first floor of our K-1 Lodge to claim this deal. Second, we won’t just be skiing & riding on Superstar this weekend, as our Park Crew is keeping the stoke alive in our Skyehawk spring park all through this weekend. We’ll have three features on tap for what may be our last weekend with a park offering.

Even though we’ve got some more time left on the slopes this season, our summer activity openings are right around the corner. Coming up first is the Killington Golf Course, opening for the season for passholders only on Friday, May 15th and for the general public on Saturday, May 16th. Next up, the Snowshed Express Quad will open on Friday, May 22nd to service our Bike Park, with Ramshead and K-1 scheduled for openings in June and July respectively. Lastly, the Adventure Center opens on Saturday, May 23rd, and scenic rides on the K-1 Gondola begin Friday, July 3rd. We also recently posted our summer events schedule online, featuring fun for all ages from Memorial Day weekend all the way through the end of the fall. We're still crafting up some more details that we’ll share soon enough, including our full Cooler in the Mountains music lineup. Stay tuned!

If you want to be right in the middle of all the action we have in store this summer, plan ahead and save through our Grand Summer Getaway Sale. Book with us for a 2+ night stay by May 15th and unlock up to 35% off your stay between May 22nd and October 31st. We’re offering up 5% off peak foliage stays in the fall, plus 10% off weekend nights, 20% off midweek nights for 1- to 3-night stays, and 35% off midweek nights for 4+ night stays. Don’t forget, staying at the Killington Grand Hotel also brings additional savings on scenic gondola rides and Adventure Center tickets, as well as lessons, rentals, and lift tickets in our Bike Park.

See you on the slopes!
