Human Resources Hours Update
|
The HR office will operate on reduced hours next week due to limited staffing. The office will be closed on Tuesday, April 21, and Friday, April 24.
Regular business hours will resume the following week:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Grand Hotel Temporary Closure May 1–14
|
The Grand Hotel will be temporarily closed for all services from end of day
May 1 through May 14, with plans to reopen on May 15.
This is a planned closure to support several major improvement projects, including a significant upgrade to the hotel’s water system. In May, we’ll have a large plumbing team onsite installing 15 isolation valves. Currently, the Grand operates with a single system shutoff, which means any repair impacts the entire building. This upgrade will allow us to isolate issues moving forward and avoid full-building disruptions, improving the overall guest experience.
Additional work during this time includes:
-Phase 2 ballroom renovations
-Furniture Upgrades in Preston’s
-General property improvements
-Pool lighting and plaster repair
Important: This is a full shutdown of the Grand. There will be no lodging, Preston’s dining, cafe/coffee service, SPA operations, health club and pool, or other amenities available during this time.
The Front Desk main phone line 802.422.6767 will be forwarded to Central Reservations from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm daily. From 4:00 pm to 8:00 am there will be someone at the desk for emergency calls.
We appreciate everyone’s flexibility as we complete this work. These improvements will have a meaningful impact on the guest experience at the Grand moving forward.

Dana Kent is an executive coach and longtime ski industry leader with more than 25 years of experience in mountain operations, safety leadership, and organizational culture. Dana now works with organizations across the outdoor industry through
Dana Kent Coaching, supporting leaders and teams in building stronger, more equitable workplace cultures.

Forgot Your Pass at Home?
You already know that if you've lost your employee pass, you get a new one in the Human Resources office. But if you forgot your employee pass at home, go to a ticket window and ask for a one-day employee forgot pass ticket.
You'll receive a temporary RFID card that you can use through the gates and for other employee discounts.
To reactivate your employee pass the next day, just take it through one of the lift gates, or call HR at (802) 422-6709 with your employee pass in hand.
The temporary RFID card is meant to only be used for the one day. It is NOT meant to replace your employee pass.

- Spring has sprung! The Snowdon Six, Ramshead Express, North Ridge Quad, and K-1 Gondola will be open through Sunday, April 19, conditions permitting. After this weekend, the Superstar Six will be the only lift in operation for the remainder of the season (open until 5:00 p.m. on Apr. 18, 25 & May 2)
